The design of this site was completed by SoundImage, and we assisted
them with the development of a customised shopping cart, developed
with .PHP and mySQL.

| Although BBC wanted a shopping cart, they
wanted something that was simple enough to operate without too many
complex databases that needed maintenance. |

| Solution: |
A simple email shopping cart was developed
to capture purchase requests, while maintenance of the bookstore
is kept minimal with the use of a books database.
